A Wonderful 18th Century Primitive chair.

This chair is from my own collection and i have cherished it for the past five years but i am now making room for a new arrival.

Of country construction and condition it has had a hard but useful life ,it now has two bicycle spokes and a metal rod securing the horse shoe shaped arms and a metal plate securing the centre of the arms and the rear left leg is a period replacement.

I hope like me that you see all this as a bonus of the country charm that this chair holds ,it is wonky in shape but stable on the ground and has a golden colour with the signs of wear in all the right places.
